My Hero Academia Is NOT The King of Shonen

So without further ado –let Fuck you fight. The only good thing about the black clover. Anime was episode 49 I don’t know man, if it takes 49 episodes for an anime to get good. It’s probably not good nazi Sabado is actually a good character with this one. Yes. I do have to agree This is very much an unpopular opinion for some strange reason even though especially after reserve finished there were more and more people that I was serious in that was a changing their mind about Natsuki Soubirous like Everybody fucking hated subaru during the show because of all the quantum quote stupid things that he did that made.

Absolutely. No reason But I mean I explained it in the video ages ago I don’t remember which video was but I remember saying if I was going through the shit that Subarus going through like with all the things that were happening, you know like getting teleported into a new world and all that kind of shit and you know seeing So many people just dying in front of their eyes like yeah I would probably go a little bit insane and illogical at times as well wouldn’t you think and you know, there were plenty of people who were going on like oh You know REM did so much for Subaru in the show.

And then at the end he just fucking straight-up declines her and goes towards Amelia who made you know, like fucking four appearances throughout the entire series But you have to think about it in the eyes of Subaru and it’s that you know the first person that he ever You know got in contact with the first person he ever felt safe with in the new world was Amelia and I think a lot of people seem to forget that because a lot of people tend to forget the Distance of the first three episodes of re0 I mean, I don’t blame you guys I forgot it – like I’ve I’ve said many times that I Really didn’t see the point of the first three episodes considering that there was a villain that never made it back to begin with We never really see a lot of interactions between Amelia and Subaru at all but the thing is is that we’ve kind of brushed the first three episodes aside as just like You know a little introduction to the show before the before the good shit came along You know the good ramen Ram shit came along but we have to remember that those first three episodes were very very important Not only to set up the whole basis of the story and the whole, you know structure of the whole you die And then you get reset back with all of your memories gone and shit like that but it was also important to really establish a very very strong and rather special connection between Subaru and Amelia a connection that Obviously Subaru has been holding on to the entire duration of the series and has finally just kind of blown out of proportion by the end of the series and you know, a lot of people are saying like oh You know Subaru fucking sucks because he talked to REM who was obviously best go First of all Ram is not best Cole Beatrice is best go and second of all like, you know, yeah they had that whole connection going on like Ram and Amelia and RAM and Subaru and this whole three-way connection that was going on but Inside Subaru as a character, obviously Amelia stood out more than Ram But it’s not completely unjustified as to why he decided to go for Amelia than RAM So we have to we have to understand that as we watch the series just because the main character Didn’t stick with your quote/unquote best goal.

That doesn’t make him wrong Okay, that’s just how the story goes blackbullet is very and I mean very underrated. Oh No, it’s really not I I watch blackbullet while I was airing and it’s really nothing all that special to be honest It’s just your very typical fantasy sci-fi, you know a little bit psychological horror type of light novel series that has some action that has some edgy that has some comedy there are literally Hundreds of light novels out there that have both been adapted into anime and haven’t yet been adapted into anime that up follow Basically, the same veins as blackbullet was like what about data live? Like I think data live is on the whole Conceptual side of things is pretty fucking similar to black bullet and even that was also just as mediocre as black bullet I don’t know Maybe it’s because this person who commented, you know loves the whole lowly aspect of black bullet and hey I didn’t mind that shit at all, but it wasn’t anything special Let’s just say that mollies are not good and it’s disturbing to like them in a sexual way Even if your character is over 18, you are still being attracted to the body of a child and that is pedophilia.

Okay? Here’s the thing that Western people need to kind of understand about lollies and the whole existence of lollies and why? People in Japan at least tend to fetishize lollies even though it’s not really finishes on but you know tend to on the surface fetishize lollies and it’s that stereotypically Asian woman women especially Japanese women a lot of them tend to look younger than they actually Are whereas Western women tend to look older than they actually are of course? It depends on the person obviously some people You know on both races tend to look older or younger but on the stereotypical on a genetic on a just societal understanding of how women look in these two cultures and in these two countries Japanese women tend to look younger than they actually are for example, one of my cousins who is now 30 this year She has a child She is a straight-up housewife Went to Australia one time with me and got denied entry into a bar because the bouncer thought that she was 16 I meanwhile over In Japan when looking at Western people, especially Western women Japanese women tend to look at Western women and think wow They look so much more mature than their actual age They look like more like adults when you know, they could be looking at a 14 You’re all thinking that they’re a 20 year old This isn’t just me saying this by the way like this is a societal understanding the societal stereotype of stigma that exists around the Japanese society and that directly I feel reflects onto the whole existence of lolis in anime it’s basically just taking that whole idea of all Japanese women tend to look younger than they actually are and basically Cranking it up to an 11 you obviously this isn’t me, you know Accepting people for you know having pedophilic thoughts and you know going off and doing pedophilic things No, like real life pedophiles can go rot in hell, but if it’s just a drawing of a girl You know Oh a fictional girl who is you know? Say looks like a 12 year old but is actually a 2000 year old, you know? Like if it’s just that and you’re not actually going out of your way to fuck twelve-year-old girls Then I don’t see the problem in that like you can like whatever the fuck you like dude.

That’s the equivalent of saying Oh, I hate feet and I hate people who have foot fetishes. And so I’m gonna go out and chop everybody’s feet off It doesn’t really make a lot of sense. Does it? You can’t thought police people just because you’re not okay with it elitists are annoying. Of course but those nostalgic viewers who are always ranting about how Anime was way better before have been even worse and toxic as of lately the thing is a lot of those people all those nostalgic people who say like Those are the elitists you are talking about the exact same type of people and of course I’m not saying that all people like that but a lot of people who are you know? very Nostalgic lead offensive about the stuff that they quoted quicker off with it because that was like the standard of all anime of all generations the those are usually elitist themselves the definition of an elitist in my eyes is someone who can’t Change the way that they think can’t adapt to the change of the industry or the community and are always just stuck in their own bubble of what they think is good and what they think is Bad and they won’t budge for anybody else And in that same vein, you know the whole idea of They think that they stuff that they grew up with was the greatest and the stuff that they didn’t grow up with later on down The track is all trash.

It’s basically the same thing just kind of changing perspectives. But yes, I do agree I find them rather annoying too, but I also understand where they’re coming from So I I don’t know if I agree or disagree with this like that Yes, they’re annoying. But you know just just leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone Just just don’t mind them reverse Harriman. Shoujo animes are just basically reflecting on how thoughts be I Know actually I completely disagree with that that’s like saying oh guys in actual like normal harem anime Uh, just fucking Playboy’s IRL, which is absolutely not the case most harem protagonists are in fact the opposite of that they’re what they call the grass eaters in Japan where they you know They don’t so much go and fucking grab any woman that’s there and you know make it their own and you know, fuck them Silly like that. You see that shit in hentai, but you don’t see that shit inherence because otherwise there wouldn’t really be a story That’s established and I feel the same thing goes for reverse harem protagonists like reverse harem heroines basically the same thing it’s just the accumulation of thoughts and you know dreams that the a male or female reader of whoever is watching it can put themselves into an immerse themselves in suit to basically live out their dream of having a Harem, if there was a reverse harem where the main heroine was indeed a thought as you call it I would love to watch that cuz I think that would be hilarious That would be a real like, you know, John wrote whist on the whole you should have reverse harem shit like that That would be something that I don’t think with that we’ve ever seen before So I think that would actually be more Interesting than a normal reverse interim MHA is not even close to being the king of Shawn in as many nut jobs believe it’s not even that good and it’s incredibly Overrated okay.

I don’t so much agree or disagree with this particular opinion because it all depends on how you define the king of Shawn and that’s a pretty like Arbitrary floaty way to define anything the king of something like you can ask anybody all what is you know? Who’s the king of rock and you’d probably get 500 different artists that come out of 500 different people. You know what I mean? Like how do you define the king of a particular genre of anime? Like if you define it as the most commercially successful then? Factually one piece would be the king of Shawn in because it is not only the highest selling Shonen manga and series of all time but the highest selling manga series of all time Period or what? If someone defines the king of Shawn in as the first shown in ever created, you know You go back to Shawn in jump from the 60s and you look at you know Early stuff that artists like Nagi Gore who were created, you know, like things like merging Gaza Doran even Devilman that would be you know some of the first Extremely successful, you know Shonen manga so with that be considered the king of manga or is the king of Shonen anime defined as you know of that time like the king of Shonen anime of 2018 currently is Without a doubt regardless of whether you like it or not My dear academia the fact that recently they add the my hero academia movie in cinemas and the box office was more successful than most other Standard western films goes to show that I think my gear academia right now is pretty much the king of Shawn in now But I don’t even think fans of my hair academia today Uh saying that my hero academia is the king of Shawn in of all time Unless you know My ear active is the only shown in that they’ve ever seen which would be very surprising on this day me Personally, I would define the king of Shonen as you know the the Shonen manga that made the biggest impact in the Shawn injure honor that the Shauna monger that made the biggest impact on me and the people around me and my You know friend circle and my manga and anime experience at the time and that would be Dragon Ball I grew up with Dragon Ball.

The fact that people are still talking about Dragon Ball to this day is pretty much Fact that you know, it is a timeless shown in it You could even define it as the king of Shawn and I’m sure there are many people watching this video right now that could define Dragon Balls the king of Shonen I would also define you know YuYu Hakusho as the king of Shawn and I would define bleach is the king of Shawn and even though there was a Massive fall that the huge impact that that series made was incredible slam dunk would be another example of the king of Shawn inlay That’s one of the greatest sports manga of all time in my opinion. So the fact that you’re complaining about all these people Supposedly calling my hair. Academia. The king of Shawn in anime is It’s very unbelievable. I can’t I haven’t heard anybody saying that mine here.

I could hate as the king of Shawn now I’ve heard people saying that it’s a great Shawn in and no doubt. I don’t disagree with those people I think my hair academia is pretty goddamn good and I think deserves to be where it is today But yeah, I I don’t think you should worry about you know complaining about my hair Give me being the king of Shauna the definitive Seana because it’s really not I don’t think there is one show that is the definitive King of showing it a certain scientific railgun is better than a certain magical index. I don’t disagree with you on that point But if you’re a realtor Lara fan, but you would say that Index is pretty good as well Giggy, you know Toronto is an extremely underrated anime of the season.

Yes. Yes. Yes Gigantic star o is not early the most underrated an email this season it is the most underrated anime Period in my opinion but as you know, Nagano has been around for a very long time I believe it’s a manga series from like the 60s maybe even earlier I’m not too sure and they recently remade gig in which that all for the recent season and the recent season is really Fucking good.

I feel the only problem why again which Tuttle didn’t make it so much of a scratch mark on the western audience is because a The original game unix title from the 60s didn’t really leave a Stratus scratch mark on the audience and B I think it has to do with the whole subject matter that surrounds the narrative of gag image Tuttle It’s all about, you know, Japanese mythology Japanese spirits Japanese You know ghosts and ghouls and goblins and all of that kind of stuff that I feel a only a very select niche People in the West are really really into whereas in Japan It’s very much second nature for a lot of people like when we hear a particular You know monster in Japanese mythology, then we would just be like, oh, yeah, of course everybody knows the story to that and so when we look at a show that is basically all of those things put together then when Like yeah, that’s really cool We don’t we don’t have to like start from scratch and learn what these monsters are to begin with Whereas in the West a lot of people aren’t so much familiar to that kind of stuff Like if I said things like my motto AIG or eat them woman Then you guys would be like what the fuck is that but here in Japan it’s second nature and I feel it’s because the 60s Give you a tour made such a huge Societal impact in Japan that kids today even know about digging image that or even if they’ve never seen a before.

Yeah. Yeah No, just a tour in Japan has just basically become, you know plastered on a legendary status of like yeah, everybody knows this Even if you haven’t read it, even if you haven’t watched it, you know, what the fuck it is I guess it would be the equivalent to Pokemon over in the West like you And parents probably know who Pikachu is, but they probably couldn’t tell you what series it’s from my book Uh, my ego is the best work from shaft and chugga. Hanabi is the worst. I I find it difficult to Agree on that one I I still think the one about 30 series is the greatest shaft either molnar daily series or sound that as it’s a more sincere For me would be the best shaft work. Although mother Camargo is also fucking fantastic I’d say that’s an equal third and with Jackie Hanabi being the worst, I guess where we’re talking about modern shaft works then Yes, Oh Jackie, huh? Maybe would probably be the worst but I feel the problem with which young Hanabi was not so much shaft But rather the original story and how it was composed narrative ly like visually speaking and animation least speaking animation Li I don’t even think that’s a word but animation speaking shaft actually did a really fuckin good job with the animation and movement of chugga Hanabi the thing that made which our gear had to be so shitty in my opinion was the story which made absolutely no sense because any Studio could have gotten on you chugga Hanabi and tried to anime in the best way you could have gotten trigger to get on that Shit, you could have gotten IG productions to go on that shit you go got an a wanting on the show You’re gonna gotten koto animation to go machine.

You could think of any like Incredibly beautiful and talented animation studio out there to try and animate with Yaya Hanabi and I still feel it wouldn’t have done the original series justice like it just wouldn’t have ended up a good show in any way because if you go back to the history of shaft works like You know back in like the 80s and 90s like there’s a pretty crudely animated shit out there Like just just go check it out and see for yourself Besides the majority claim that castle in the sky is better than spirited away But in my mind, I just can’t put castle in the sky above it I just think I liked spirited away way better and I feel a lot of people feel that way because they watch spirited away First now correct me if I’m wrong If you’re watching this if you’re saying no I watch costs on the sky first and I still think spirited away was the best then Hey, then that just means spirited away you prefer a spirited away, and that’s fine um, I personally loved both, you know as much as I loved spirited away like that is a fucking fantastic movie like completely deserving of an Academy Award No but something about castle on the sky just Speaks to me more like something about cost someone a look and cuss on the sky and just look how its animated Look how the characters flow.

There’s just something about it. That is so Charming that I don’t think even studio ghibli themselves can replicate in the modern day There’s just some kind of it’s a timestamp to remind us of you know The old school days of Studio Ghibli and the old school days of Miyazaki’s work so, you know directorial work So there’s just something about it that just cannot be replicated in the newer cleaner. Look of Studio Ghibli And of course, that’s not me saying that the newer cleaner look of Studio Ghibli is necessarily bad it’s just different in any case for me like costs on the sky isn’t even my favorite like Miyazaki or my favorite Studio Ghibli film like my favorite Miyazaki film is still looping the third Castle of Cagliostro and my favorite Studio Ghibli film is when money was there So hey, it’s all a matter of opinion if you prefer one or the other then that’s fine my boy Djinji chose manga is not even creepy instead.

See yourself They’re not all horror anime need to have Unnecessary jump scares blood and gore or have characters cool off for no reason if it’s not going to add to the story or plot It’s just useless shock factor. Yes. I absolutely agree And I feel that can be said for not just anyway But for all TV series and movies out there the whole reason why I’m not a huge fan of you know Gore porn films like the hostel or the Saw franchise is because of this reason I just think the gore and the killing of people is fucking Unnecessary to the the story behind so but here’s the good thing about a lot of horror anime or at least a lot of good Horror anime is that most of the good horror anime out there.

Don’t do this. Like they don’t use jump scares They don’t use unnecessary blood or gore Unnecessary killing off characters if they do use that then it is necessary It’s used to add to the atmosphere of everything. For example, look at the corpse party OVA That shit was way too gory way to killing unlike absolute everything about that was way too unnecessary for it to portray the story of corpse party Whereas on the flip side if you look at say monologue a which I consider one of the greatest horror anime of all time That shit almost has zero go zero jump-scares zero killing off characters that are in an unnecessary fashion And that shit is still the creepy as fuck So yes I do absolutely agree with this opinion on anime and just you know media in general The new art style of high school didi sucks in particular the faces of Ryo SIA and Yuto are horrible I feel that a lot of people feel that way because Of the first batch like the first two seasons being in a completely different art style I feel that if you took the current art style of the current high school DD Anime and pop that into the first couple of seasons of high school DD like just you know completely Unchanged and I don’t think people would have a problem with them at all I think it’s just enough people hate change and you know, they want to they want to maintain the continuity of everything But if that shit was the same all around, you know regardless of if they kept the old Style or the old style was the current new style then.

I don’t think I would see people complaining I just I just think you know people are just not susceptible to change personally speaking. I didn’t a fuckin problem with it I like both styles very much so but I don’t really look at high school DD fully the the style of all the characters because high school DD actually has a Pretty nice story that I’d much rather focus on and finally Hetalia is actually informative and needs a new season Nah, it’s just racist.

Let’s be real like that shit was built on stereotypes. It was built on stigmas It was built on things that you know, we turned into jokes because they were all chibi and cute but if there was a Live-action TV show of that shit on say Netflix then. Oh boy the amount of controversy that shit would create also Have we had enough seasons of Italia? Haven’t there been like five seasons of that shit? I could barely get through the first season of hurt a little in five seasons, so no it’s not informative There are plenty of other shows that are more informative that you could you know If you sink your teeth into rather than Hetalia, let the pasta die down.
